Free Training: If you are aged between 20 and 65 and live in Worcestershire, you may be eligible for free training funded by the European Social Fund through Herefordshire and Worcestershire Learning and Skills Council.

 

OCN Level 1 in Warehousing

This course involves 30 hours of learning, much of which is practical, hands-on work and is backed up by written work.  The course is taken by Stuart Sargent who works in the Network warehouse, off the Stourport Road,  using warehousing skills on a daily basis. 

 

You will focus on the key areas in the warehouse such as Goods Inwards and Order Picking, look at how it is managed and how important these functions are.  Safety and security procedures will be covered as well as storage facilities and methods.

 

Nationally Recognised: This course is National Open College Network accredited (OCN) which means that your qualification is nationally

recognised.

 

Free Forklift Truck Training

For learners taking the OCN Level 1 in Warehousing there are a limited number of free places on the Forklift Truck New Driver’s training course and opportunities for voluntary work within the Network’s warehouse.
