LEVEL TWO AWARD

IN FOOD SAFETY

This is a recognised qualification in the catering industry and is a requirement for anyone who handles food in catering, retail, manufacturing and, health and social care.

The course runs over two days ( 9.15- 1.45) and there will be a short multiple choice examination at the end of the second day. All course materials will be provided

·  Bacteriology

·  Prevention of food contamination

·  Personal hygiene

·  Premises, equipment and pest control

·  Cleaning and disinfection

·  Legislation

The course venue is the Dowles Road Community Centre, Rifle Range Estate
