Electrical Skills Courses Free Training: If you are aged between 20 and 65 and live in Worcestershire, you may be eligible for free training funded by the European Social Fund through Herefordshire and Worcestershire Learning and Skills Council. You will cover basic electrical safety regulations within the home , the properties of insulation and earthing, carry out some testing of equipment and be shown how to recognize and remedy given faults in domestic appliances. Thursday 9.30am 12.30pm Following on from Level 1 you will increase your knowledge of electrical theory combined with more in depth hands on practical work focusing on both safety at home and within the electrical trade. You will also have the chance to tackle two soldering projects. Nationally Recognised: These courses are National Open College Network accredited (OCN) which means that your qualification is nationally recognised. These courses involve 30 hours of learning, much of which is practical, hands-on work and is backed up by some written work.
